They still make great lenses. They have a nice line of M-mount lenses (I have a few of these ... they are beautiful) for Leica cameras as well as their own line of "Ikon" rangefinder cameras (film). Sony has an agreement with Carl Zeiss GmbH to produce Zeiss-branded lenses for their Alpha series cameras, and they produce some beauts in F (Nikon), EF (Canon), and K (Pentax) mount as well. Most are manual focus, except for some of the Sony-Alpha models.
The optical quality is first rate. Still going strong(ish).
