Christmas in July? KFC Tabehodai.

Postby Hanzo the Razor » Fri Jun 15, 2012 11:30 am

For those of you who want to make yourselves sick, KFC Japan is going to be offering all you can eat fries and original recipe chicken and all you can drink soda on July 4th from 1 pm - 4 pm for 1200 yen. The catch is that you only have 45 minutes and you can only order 3 piece of chicken, a small fries and a medium soda each time you go up to the counter.

So how many people do you think will order the fries and chicken, then eat them while standing in line for the next round?

Ah, a common technique in Japan to be able to advertise all-you-can-eat/drink, but in reality make it a very controlled, limited experience. Yet some suckers never learn...

I'm no KFC fan but McNuggshits aren't any better.

I love the crispy strips they have here that look like they use tempura batter...but all you can eat original is just a recipe for an overcrowded KFC full of sick people. :?
Lemurs (lē′·mər) are a clade of strepsirrhine primates endemic to the island of Japan. They are named after the lemures (ghosts or spirits) of Roman mythology due to the ghostly vocalizations, reflective eyes, and the nocturnal habits of some species.

Yeah, the crispy strips are decent and I like the twister since they're the main ingredient. I've never been a fan of their regular fried chicken though. I'm originally from the dirty dirty South, so I know better.
